Welcome to Emily's House! Emily's House is an organization developed to help individuals in the Rock Hill Area developed by Rev. Pannell from the wish of a 16 year old girl by the name of Emily Elkins who died of cancer several weeks ago. Pannell spoke with Emily's family about her wish and immediately went to work to make Emily's dream come true. Emily was an individual who's desire was to help o
thers no matter what it took. And our goal is to pick up where she left off letting her legacy continue. Emily had two wishes one to go to Hawaii and the make a wish foundation was going to grant that wish but Emily's health would not permit her to make the trip. The other to open up a place to help families who are in need. With the original idea of just a homeless shelter, Pastor Pannell has worked to develop a project that is now so much more. Making the right connections, speaking with individuals all over the community about this project and developing partnerships with existing organizations this will be one of the most unique projects in our area and all under the name "Emily's House". We look forward to getting the community connected with Emily's House and "Reaching Our Community!". Emily's House is an organization that will work to help provide immediate housing to families that are in emergent need as well as working with them to find a stable solution for their family. Our desire is to work with all local churches, businesses and existing facilities to make this possible, developing a partnership for success. Pannell said this isn't about competition its about helping others. If we all work together we can tackle Homelessness head on helping those who want to help themselves, reconnecting individuals to the community and keeping the family unit together.
