YCARS wrapped up a hugely successful food drive on March 14!
Thanks to the generosity of our members, we raised $2,570 and purchased 230 lbs of pasta and 276 #10 cans of vegetables and fruits for the Plentiful Harvest Kitchen at Covenant Presbyterian Church.

We also collected 100+ lbs of non‑perishable items for the Covenant Food Bank.

A big thank‑you to Theo Moore, K4TTM, and Hillary Ramsey, AB1CD, for leading the effort — and to all YCARS members who stepped up to support our community.

**What to Do on the Second Saturday of Every Month?**
Head out for an exciting Foxhunt in Rock Hill, SC! Search for a hidden transmitter somewhere within the city limits—it's a thrilling challenge popularized by HAM radio operators, but **anyone can join**! No HAM license required; just bring an analog scanner and use your skills to get directional bearings on the frequency 146.565 MHz.

The goal? Be the first to find the transmitter! It powers on at **9:00 AM** and shuts off at **11:00 AM**. Whether you're a radio enthusiast or a curious adventurer, this is a fun way to explore the city and test your detective skills.
