The South Carolina Rural Water Association (SCRWA) helps connect high school students with valuable career opportunities through its Pre-Apprenticeship Program!

The program allows Rock Hill water and wastewater utilities to hire high school interns for with 90% reimbursement for 10 hours a week and up to $13 an hour.

Rock Hill Economic Development has an existing partnership with the Applied Technology Center - Rock Hill✨ to recruit students by participating in their career fair and hosting a lunch and learn to educate students about this opportunity.

This gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and helps build a stronger workforce for the future. A big thank you to Eric Moore for his commitment to help fund and support these students!
