Music Club of Rock Hill The purpose of the Music Club of Rock Hill is to foster appreciation of music and the performing arts

At monthly meetings, music and arts programs are presented by local talent, both professional and non-professional. The public is invited to attend these programs throughout the year, including an annual Christmas Program and Scholarship Fundraiser.

Be our guests at the Rock Hill Music Club meeting on March 15 at First Presbyterian Church, 234 East Main Street, Rock Hill (3:00). Our concert, Tomoko and Friends, will feature Tomoko Deguchi and Lannia Bronola-Dickert, piano, Noah Bruening, saxophone, and Paul Smit, trombone. Tomoko and Lannia are both piano teachers at Winthrop, and this will be an exceptional performance. All our guests are invited to the reception following the concert. The Rock Hill Music Club is celebrating American Music Month with a performance by violinist Laurie Neal and pianist P. J. Brunson at historic Bethesda Presbyterian Church (founded in 1769) on November 16 at 3:00. You will also hear a presentation of the church history followed by a tour of the cemetery. Come listen to some Celtic tunes from the founding of York County. Admission and parking are free.

Attendees at the Music Club of Rock Hill scholarship fundraiser on August 16th we're treated to a pre-concert lecture by Dr. Sonja Sepulveda, Artistic and Music Director of the Palmetto Voices Spiritual Ensemble. This powerful and diverse choir delivered a rousing and spirit raising performance at Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church. We all learned that Dr. Sepulveda delivered at TED Talk on her experiences as a female conductor and her inspirational work towards the preservation of the concert spiritual.

We thank Dr. Sepulveda and the Palmetto Voices for their time, talent, and passion, and especially, for the music they shared with us.

Looking for something to do this weekend? Check out the article written in the Post and Courier featuring the Palmetto Voices and director, Sonja Sepulveda! Rock Hill will be rocking in the church as this dynamic group presents a concert of powerful music!

Palmetto Voices Spiritual Ensemble, led by artistic director Sonja Sepúlveda, will perform on Aug. 16 in Rock Hill, donating proceeds to local music students.
