We are announcing our permanent location after what feels like years!

Did you forget about us??? We didn’t forget about you! It takes time to find just the perfect location to make sure our entrepreneurs are set up success.

Located on White St. just across from the Cambria Hotel Rock Hill - University Center The Nest at University Center, down from Slow Play Brewing and a stones throw from Winthrop University, we will be setting up shop in 2022.

We couldn’t be more thrilled to provide a space for our local entrepreneurs to thrive and grow with us at Cultivate RH. With 3x the space we ever thought we’d have, double the entrepreneurs, and right smack dab where we want to be permanently, the wait was worth it. We can’t thank Freedom Temple enough for believing in our vision and partnering with us to provide our community with the support space and education for our entrepreneurs.

At Cultivate RH, you’ll be able to experience the best in food, retail and entertainment that Rock Hill has to offer. Open 7 days a week from morning to night, we can’t wait to do life with you!

We’re excited to add to our permanent business line up with I'shantii Rosser from Behind The Scene Fitness. Cultivate RH is thrilled he’ll be offering personal training sessions, lunchtime group workouts on the lawn and all the in between. He shares our passion for children and his outreach program to support youth, may be the most exciting aspect to his role here with us at Cultivate RH.

Passion Post Alert 🚨

You may have seen us mention it briefly but we’d like for you to dive further into our passion for the youth in our community. Really listening to children, offering praise when appropriate and taking an interest in their hobbies are just a few things we as a community can do to help ever growing issues among our teens like gun violence, an opioid crisis and su***de to name a few. At Cultivate, we want to provide a safe space for kids to flourish. We hope to be an observer of their behavior and what influences them to help facilitate that passion. Strong education, good study habits and workforce training are directly related to a youth’s positive development. If a source of love, guidance, and protection are available when our youth seek, they are not forced to search for these basic needs from other negative sources.

Come as you are and be ready to expand your mind in all things that you’re able to learn. Sit in a quiet space and practice writing that poem or novel. Partner with amazing musicians to learn that instrument you’ve been drawn to. Be taught how to grow your own food and the flavors within. Take care of your body with our on-site trainer who can give you tips on staying fit. Are you a gamer? Time to join a team and compete. Turn a hobby into a career. Like to cook? Shadow top notch chefs and grow your passion. All free to those who put the effort in by just showing up.

Youth that know how to handle peer pressure, resolve conflict, and solve problems are less likely to become gang members, be bullied, or become victims. It may seem like a simple concept, but we’re willing to try it if you are. We’ll be looking for mentors willing to teach lessons in any of the above areas and more.

With so many asking lately, we want to be very transparent. This is a brand new concept for our city and are thrilled they are working with us. The whole town really wants to see this happen. With that said, we still have a long road ahead of planning and zoning, as well as blessings from city council. We hope to get your support and encouragement throughout the process. Hoping to see you next Spring of 2022.

As promised, we have some exciting news to announce this week. Starting with our first anchor restaurant to mentor our budding entrepreneurs. We are thrilled to have them on board and heading to Rock Hill.

We have officially filled all of our permanent “Stalk” positions. What’s a Stalk you may ask? Stalks are the support system for budding flowers. Our Stalks are 6 key restaurants that have been in business and this will either be a second location for them or a second concept. They will also be the backbone of our program and the mentors to the rising entrepreneurs. They’ll lead by example and be there for advise, permanently. Starting next week, we’ll be announcing them to the public. As a teaser, we can tell you Ramen is one! 🍜 We heard you, we delivered.

We know first hand the struggles and hurdles of starting your own business and that’s why we are launching this development along with our 2 year S.E.E.D program to get entrepreneurs started and help prepare you for the hurdles ahead. To fellow business owners, what was the hardest challenges you faced starting out?

We as a community hold the duty of making sure our children are given every opportunity to succeed, be seen and flourish. That’s why at Cultivate RH, the norm will look like children taking music lessons on the stage, kids reading books sprawled out on the lawn, youth gardening, others helping volunteer in the retail stores or restaurant spaces. We have to empower our future generations and let their minds soar with endless possibilities of who they can be and what they can accomplish when they grow up. It’s past time, for we as a community, to take back the responsibility of looking out for each other’s kids and boosting them towards a bright future.
