Dear Community Partners, Hospice Providers, and Friends,
It is with gratitude and great hope that we announce the re-opening of Mercy House for patient admissions, where we were down for a few months as we streamlined our processes to better serve our community.
Mercy House exists to provide a loving, home-like environment for individuals at the end of life who have nowhere else to turn. Our mission remains rooted in dignity, compassion, and comfort-focused care for those most vulnerable in our community. Please see our website for Residence Acceptance Criteria and how we can serve to make a difference.

In order to ensure we are able to continue our mission and to act as good stewards of our donors' money, we have set forth the following criteria when accepting referrals for potential residents.

“With These Hands, We’ve Loved” ❤️

This Valentine’s Day, we honor the incredible lives of our residents—those who have loved, built, created, and cared with their hands. Through our With These Hands activity, we listen to their stories: hands that have held children, worked hard, created art, comforted loved ones, and shaped the world in ways both big and small.

At Mercy House, we believe dignity is found in every story, every touch, and every act of care. No one should be forgotten or feel unloved, especially in their final days. Your kindness and support help us remind each person that their life has mattered—and still does.

Love is more than a Valentine’s card—it’s showing up, listening, and holding space for every story. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
