Happy Tails Vision

Happy Tails Humane Society is guided by a humane ethic to build a community that universally values animals, understands their needs, and takes action to meet them. Happy Tails will be a leader in working toward:
• Elimination of pet overpopulation and the euthanasia of adoptable animals.
• Providing quality temporary care to homeless animals then placing them in permanent loving homes.
• Educating the community on humane treatment and responsible guardianship of companion animals.

Prescott arrived at Happy Tales extremely thin and in need of care. Now, this sweet 11-month-old German Shepherd has transformed into a healthy, loving, and incredibly smart young dog who is READY FOR ADOPTION! 🐶

And somewhere out there, we just KNOW there’s a family waiting for our Will! ❤️

Meet WILL, our always happy-go-lucky, sweet, silly, sunshine-loving boy whose smile is every bit as big as his heart! 🥰

Will has just one little drawback…

He WILL stop to smell the flowers! 🌻😂

But wait… is that really a drawback? Or is Will simply reminding us all that sometimes the best things in life happen when we slow down and enjoy the little moments? ❤️

At around a year old, Will is a sleek, handsome black beauty on the smaller side of medium. But don’t let his size fool you… this boy has a HUGE personality and an even bigger heart!

🐾 A little more about our wonderful Will!

❤️ Dog friendly! He loves his canine buddies and has that fun, playful energy of a young pup!

❤️ Social, outgoing, and absolutely LOVES his people!

❤️ Enjoys his walks, even if he occasionally needs to stop and appreciate Mother Nature! 🌻

❤️ Ignores the cats here at Happy Tails!

❤️ Doing very well as we continue working on his home training!

❤️ Has a smile so contagious that you simply cannot help smiling back!

And that beautiful black coat? Well, it matches his personality perfectly…

Because Will wants nothing more than to be YOUR shadow! 🖤

Where you go, he wants to go. What you’re doing, he wants to be part of. Whether it’s an adventure, a walk in the sunshine, or simply enjoying a quiet moment together, Will just wants to be included.

You see, Will doesn’t need a fancy life. He just needs someone to share it with.

Someone who will laugh at his silliness, appreciate his happy heart, and maybe even stop to smell a few flowers with him. 🌻❤️

Will has so much love to give. All he’s missing is someone to give it to.

Happy Tails Humane Society is getting ready for our 2nd Annual Holiday Craft Show, and we need YOUR help to make it a wonderful success!

🎁 We are looking for donations of themed gift baskets, handmade creations, gift certificates, products, or other items for our SILENT AUCTION!

This is a wonderful opportunity for local businesses and individuals to showcase their creativity, promote their businesses, and most importantly, help the homeless animals who depend on us every single day. 🐶🐱❤️

Every donated item, big or small, helps us raise much-needed funds to provide food, shelter, veterinary care, and second chances for the animals at Happy Tails.

Murphy has been the best addition to our family! He is the sweetest to everyone and everything he meets. He loves going on hikes, walking around Dixon, watching all of the cars drive by, and taking up the entire bed!

And tomorrow he won’t or the next day!♥️

He was adopted today!🥰

He sealed the deal with his calm, patient, loving personality. ♥️♥️♥️

His new family have had life long dogs, so they know what commitment is! And everyone knows that Indy deserves that and more!

We are so Blessed to find this family for Indy!

We need Hope in Humanity right now! And today Indy’s adoption was an answered prayer!
