National POW/MIA Recognition Day is observed in the United States on the third Friday of September. It is a day to honor and remember the brave Americans who were prisoners of war and those who remain Missing in Action.

Please join us September 18th @ 5pm at VFW Post 1215 for a short program and a toast honoring those who served, those who never came home, and those who are still unaccounted for today.

Their sacrifice is not forgotten.
Their names are not forgotten.
We will never stop remembering.

🇺🇸 Recover and Remember. 🇺🇸

God Bless our POWs, our MIAs, their families, and the United States of America.

As we celebrate our nation's 250th Independence Day this coming weekend, take a moment to enjoy the freedoms we cherish. Those freedoms were not given freely—they were earned through the courage and sacrifice of countless men and women who gave everything in service to our country.
As you gather with family and friends, please remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live in freedom.
May God bless the United States of America, and may He continue to watch over and protect all those who serve in defense of our nation.
Happy Independence Day!
