Food Donor Relations and Pantry Support Associate

John is an integral member of our team, playing a vital role in supporting both our food pantry and our community partners. He coordinates many of our food donation pickups. Works to build and maintain strong relationships with our current food donors, and actively seeks out new donor partnerships to expand our impact.

He's always willing to lend a hand wherever it's needed, John is a dependable team player who helps keep the pantry running smoothly. His upbeat attitude, great sense of humor, and genuine kindness make him an outstanding donor liaison and a pleasure to work alongside. We are truly grateful to have John as part of our team.

Outside of work, John enjoys fishing, hunting, and riding his Harley. He lives in Rochester with his wife, Nancy, and is the proud father of two children and grandfather of seven grandchildren.

🗣️ The People's Pantry is excited to introduce a new method of fundraising- through Facebook auctions! We have partnered with a variety of businesses across the Rochester region to raise funds to help our pantry continue serving our community.

🎉The auctions will be simple- on Sundays, a new prize will be announced in a Facebook post. There will be a minimum bid and a suggested bid increment in the comment section! You will have all week to bid; auctions will close Saturday evenings.

💰 The winner will then be asked to make their non-deductible contribution to the pantry via our website. Pickup will be arranged in person at the pantry. (Anything paid that exceeds fair market value of the prize can be tax-deductible.)

🥳 We are so excited to showcase multiple exciting items from Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Rochester Museum & Science Center, the Buffalo Bills, Tru Yoga, Geva Theatre, AND MUCH MORE in the upcoming months- stay tuned and happy bidding!!!
