The People's Pantry offers more than food assistance—we provide a grocery-style shopping experience that restores dignity, encourages choice, and helps families access the items they need most.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Rochester Regional Physician Assistant Association for selecting The People's Pantry of Rochester as the charity raffle recipient at their April 17th Annual Conference.

Thanks to your generosity and the support of your attendees, an amazing $2,500 was raised to help support our pantry and the families we serve.

Our board members truly enjoyed attending, sharing information about the pantry, and connecting with so many thoughtful and engaged guests. Your kindness, hard work, and community spirit make a meaningful difference. We are so thankful for your partnership and support.

Our mission says everyone deserves access to good, nourishing food. We're still here fighting back against food insecurity in our awesome community.
In 2025, you all helped us serve over 30,000 neighbors through our pantry program.

Hello community- we are asking for your help! We are in need of volunteers who speak other languages to come to the pantry and help patrons shop and complete the forms required to enter our system.

In particular- we are looking for those who speak Swahili, Dari, Persian, Russian, and Spanish. All other languages are welcome too! We welcome any commitment of time, no amount is too small.

Shifts: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, 9am-1pm.

Please enjoy this virtual tour of our new " full shopping experience". While our daily shopping selections may vary, You can always expect a healthy selection of fresh produce, vegetables, bread, an assortment of carbs, dried goods, canned fruits and awesome protein options. We also have a few special shelfs that you'll have to stop by to see to believe. We didn't forget about anything, finish at the end of the line with something sweet or fun to finish the meal and tie everything together The Peoples Pantry provides more then food for the community. We can also provide support with feminine or personal care items, baby food, diapers, and even dog/cat food your pets. Please come see us, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday between 9:30am - 12:00pm.
