Yesterday our garden crew met & weeded and put some fresh dirt down.

If anyone has any extra vegetable plants they’d like to donate please drop off.

Weather permitting we’ll be planting in the next couple of weeks.

Road Trip!

It's a beautiful day for the Historic Browncroft Neighborhood Walking Tour!

On Saturday, May 30, 10:30am-12pm, join guides Christopher Brandt and Tyler Lucero on a walking tour of the historic Browncroft neighborhood. We’ll start at the Winton Branch Library and walk for about an hour and 30 minutes (roughly 1.5 miles.) The properties within the Browncroft Historic District have been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 2004. Most were built in the 1920’s and represent a variety of architectural styles and are notable for their beautiful, original details and landscaping.
Please dress for the weather as we’ll walk rain or shine.

If you’ve ever visited George Eastman Museum, you’ve likely seen the ornamental ironwork of Samuel Yellin 👀

Join us for a talk led by Joseph Cunningham exploring the ironwork commissioned by George Eastman for his Conservatory in 1924. The talk will also connect the imagery in these panels to Yellin’s work across Western New York and beyond.
