🍿A huge THANK YOU is due to Brockport NHS advisor, Tricia Arnold, and her crew of NHS students who donated $5,557 to us this past April!!🍿

Ellie came in first place selling $1,582 worth of popcorn with Lincoln, a close second, having sold $1,500. This 4 day sale and the profits it generates never ceases to amaze us.

Thank you to everyone who participated, buying and selling. We are so grateful to have had a partnership with this group since 2021. They are always such an incredible group, and when we meet up with them, we enjoy our time with them.

And we know these last couple of years, their classmate and friend, 🤍Makenna🤍, has been an inspiration for them.

💛We can’t thank Rebecca King enough for the energy and smiles she brought to our Zumba fundraiser last month.💛

We saw familiar faces and new participants. We think it’s safe to say everyone had a blast. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

🎶We want to shout out Shawn Estrich who has been donating his time to each of our events since our first Zumba 4 years ago. He brings the sound system and we can’t thank him enough for his presence.🎶

Our basket donations were amazing. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed one (or two)! And thank you to Brittany Freeman for the fun tanks.

This fundraiser helped us raise over $1200 to go back into the foundation. We are grateful for all of the people we have in our corner continuing to help us honor Will.

Happy 12th birthday to the little boy who inspired it all.

When I look at him, I see strength, courage, resiliency, and an innocent, sweet, little face who deserved so many more birthdays than the one we got to celebrate with him.

We love you and miss you more than our words or actions could ever say, Will. You are missed every second of every single day.

🤍I continue to be amazed by the parents who are able to take the pain of losing a child and turn it into something meaningful.🤍

Sara with Riley Joy Candle Company is keeping her daughter’s name alive while also helping raise money for families and organizations.

Through April 18th, 50% of the proceeds from this candle in Will’s memory will be given to our foundation. I can’t wait to smell it and burn it this spring.

And I love the message: “Bring light from the darkness.”

It’s something so many of us are trying to do…

💔 Ten years just doesn’t seem real. 💔

I’ve kept a close up of this picture as the background on my phone for 10 years, and I don’t think I’ll ever change it. I love his smirk. I love knowing that despite not feeling well on this day, Luc probably did something to make him smile. And that right there is the resiliency of a sick child.

I’m tortured by all he went through. And I’m tortured by the life he will never get to live. I think a lot about the invisible weight bereaved parents carry and how so many carry it so well. It’s mind boggling.

I remain grateful for the legacy our family, friends, and the community have all taken a part in helping build in Will’s memory. It makes the constant ache in my heart tolerable.
