Solar Car Project / SCP SCP: STEM hands-on project-based academic enrichment program. Using solar technology and energy conservation to enhance STEM education.

GKPL's goal is to help students embrace their education in ways that will contribute to our overall society. Our latest project is a solar car. Vance Curves has developed a program that gives students the opportunity to work with solar powered cars in the form of Go-karts. In the past we have been able to use the sun to power the cars without batteries. The students explore solar power science wit

h many goals in mind. The first goal is to embrace academics. My goal is to stop/reduce the drop-out rate of high school students. The overall goal is to advance solar technology for the common good.
