The Junior League of Rochester (JLR) is committed to providing resources and programs to improve the lives of those who live in the Rochester area and has been a catalyst for change in our community for nearly 85 years. The JLR believes by concentrating our volunteer efforts we can increase the impact in our local community. Our mission is to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, an

Then & Now 📰❤️

While digging through old newspaper clippings, we found snapshots of Junior League of Rochester members making a difference across generations.

From welcoming new provisionals in 1961, to funding community programs in 1979, to Historic House Tours, GIRLSrock! self-defense classes, cookbook fundraisers, Ronald McDonald House partnerships, and our recent Diaper Bank efforts, the faces, fashions, and headlines may have changed, but our mission has not!

For decades, Junior League women have rolled up their sleeves, identified community needs, and worked together to create lasting impact.

Our President Michaela (middle) and President-Elect Jen (right) recently had the pleasure of attending the Garden Club Luncheon, where they enjoyed an inspiring presentation centered on embracing a different point of view and the value of supporting small, local businesses that create meaningful, personal experiences for their communities.

It was a wonderful afternoon of connection, community, and a reminder that local businesses are built on relationships, shared experiences, and a commitment to keeping traditions alive.

This past weekend, League members volunteered as auditors for the Mrs. New York America Strong and Miss New York for America Strong pageant. As auditors, our members helped record and verify scoring to ensure results were accurate, fair, and properly reported.

The pageant celebrates women across New York for their leadership, accomplishments, community service, and impact in their families and communities.

We were proud to support an event that uplifts women and celebrates service, confidence, and leadership across New York State.

We spent our Sunday morning enjoying a beginner yoga class led by one of our members Meredith.

Thank you to all the active, prospective, and sustainers who came out to the Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester and did some stretching with us today.

Small but mighty, that’s the best way to describe the Junior League of Rochester.

Behind every volunteer project, fundraiser, training, and community partnership is a dedicated group of women who generously give their time, talents, and passion to make Rochester a better place. We are proud of what we've accomplished together this year and grateful for every member who continues to show up, lead, serve, and support one another.

Thank you to our members, supporters, and community partners for helping us create meaningful impact throughout our community. Here's to continuing the work and growing our impact together. ❤️

What a wonderful way to close out another incredible Junior League year ❤️

Our final General Membership Meeting of the 2025-2026 year was all about celebrating the people who make this organization so special!

We welcomed our newest members, honored members hitting their 5 & 10 year milestones, recognized our ROSE Award winners, and celebrating the dedicated leaders who guided us this year.

Cheers to another year of impact, service, and sisterhood! 🌹

What are you up to today? We are excited for the 3rd annual Pints with Purpose (previously Brews for Babies). Hosted by our friends Three Heads Brewing. We have the awesome Noah Barnard Music playing throughout the afternoon!

Come for great drinks ($1 per pint sold until 5pm goes back to us!) awesome raffles, including a signed hockey puck by #89 of the Buffalo Sabres, and good music! We are here until 5pm.
