Please support the PAD (Proving Access and Dignity) project and the partnership with Assemblywoman Sarah Clark - AD 136 by donating menstrual products during Period Poverty Awareness Week!
This May, in recognition of Period Poverty Awareness Week (May 11 to 17), I’m proud to partner with NCJW Greater Rochester Section to support their PAD (Providing Access and Dignity) Project, a month-long drive to expand access to essential menstrual products.
Nearly 2 in 5 people who menstruate struggle to afford basic supplies, and because these products are not covered by SNAP or Medicaid, too many are left without them. This can mean missing school, missing work, and facing unnecessary impacts on health, mental health and well-being.
Throughout the month of May, we are collecting individually wrapped pads, tampons, and liners to help assemble period kits that will go directly to those who need them most.
You can help by:
• Dropping off donations at 500 Helendale Road, Suite 90
• Donating funds at ncjwgrs.org
• Purchasing items through the Amazon Wish List: https://igit.me/NCJWGRS_PAD_wishlist
Every contribution helps ensure that no one has to choose between basic necessities and dignity.
