Hello DISA Members!

Next Sunday, April 14th, DISA will be hosting an international student leadership retreat! At this retreat, students will have the opportunity to learn what it means to be a leader and bond with like-minded students. This is designed for international students with a focus on academic excellence, professional development, and personal growth.

Please note: if you are not an international student but are interested to participate, you are welcome to attend.

When: Sunday, April 14th, 10am-2pm (CHANGED DATE)
Where: SDC 1300/1310
What to expect: Icebreaker; Workshops/Presentations; Fun team building activity

Thank you to everyone who signed up last Friday at PHH to get their ticket for World As One! We do have 17 food tickets remaining which are on hold for International Students. If you are an international student and haven't claimed your ticket yet, please let us know asap!

If you did not get a food ticket yet and are not an international student, let us know so you may be put down for the wait-list. Also, keep in mind anyone is welcome to come to this event without a ticket! There are many fun activities/games planned. Send a message if you have any questions. Thanks! :)

DISA Deaf International Week is kicking off in just TWO days! We have an exciting week full of various evening events >>

Monday: Kick-off [7-9pm, SDC 2102]

Tuesday: RIT Study Abroad — Students who have studied abroad before will come to share their experiences [7-9pm, SDC 2102]

Wednesday: International Student Panel [7-9pm, SDC 1300]

Thursday: Guest Presenter — Awet Tsegay Moges — “Art of, by, and for Everyone” [7-9pm, SDC 1300/1310]

Friday: Global Union’s International Coffee Hour [4-6pm, SDC 2102]
... and, last but not least... Saturday: World As One! [5-10pm, SDC 1300/1310]
