Here is our calendar for the 2026/2027 Waters Edge roundtables! Roundtable is a monthly meeting held for all adult scouters in the District. Roundtable provides networking opportunities between leaders, supplemental training, program ideas, event announcements and more. Fall Camporee registration is live! We will be kayaking, and canoeing along the canal, and doing some hiking! Most importantly this is an opportunity to go camping and meet other Troops across the District! We'd love to see you there!

Council Kickoff: Registration Link is Live!

The Council Kickoff is chock full of information to plan and support an amazing program year for your Scouts. Breakout sessions are available for Cub Scout Leaders, Scouts BSA Leaders, Venture Crew and Exploring Post Leaders, and Product Sale unit leaders ensuring your unit will be poised for growth and fun in your program! The Kickoff also features a grand midway featuring dozens of council programs and committees providing a convenient and timely way to take away lots of useful information to enhance your program. Recruitment supplies, Product Sale supplies, and more will be available at the midway.

As we prepare to celebrate Independence Day, please note the holiday hours for the Scout Shop and Greater Finger Lakes Council Service Centers.

The Rochester Scout Shop will be open on Friday, July 3, for any last-minute Scouting needs, and will be closed on Saturday, July 4.

The Rochester and Southern Tier Service Centers will be closed on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4 in observance of the holiday.

We hope all of our Scouts, volunteers, families, and friends have a safe and happy Independence Day!

Sign up now for our Districts Adult Pinewood Derby! Registration closing soon!

Do you remember the thrill of your first pinewood derby? Well relive your memories and build the car of your dreams for the Waters Edge Adult Pinewood Derby! The proceeds will benefit our program.
The race wil be at Sager Stoneyard Brewery starting at 3:00pm and ending by 6:00pm, and is strickly 21+. Uniforms and Scouting apparell should be left at home.
Win some wonderful prizes provided by Sager Stoneyard Pub, Race some cars, and benefit todays youth!
Car kits are available at the Strong Scout Shop, 2320 Brighton Henrietta Town Line Rd. ($7.50)
You can race the car you build when you were a scout, or make a new one!
