Cowen Kumler Scholarship Fund

We would like to let everyone know, there were no qualified applicants for the Cowen Kumler Scholarship this year. It will still available through the summer scholarship program. Applicants can start applying on June 1,2026 from the Northern Indiana Community Foundation website ( https://www.nicf.org/ ). If you know anyone interested in the skilled trades, please let them know about this scholarship. The scholarship can be applied towards an accredited vocational/ trade school or a 2 or 4 year college or university.

With the town wide yard sales coming up on May 2nd, we have decided to set up and if you have any items you would like to donate please let Marcy Bradley-Kumler know and she can arrange for pickup or drop offs. The proceeds will go into the scholarship fund! Now is time to get that spring cleaning done!

We would like to say Thank You to the Rochester High School for making sure Cowen was remembered during the graduation ceremony with his seat and picture being displayed. Also allowing the students to wear a pin with Cowens picture on it. Lillee Lett, you mentioning Cowen in your speech was a great honor and we were so happy to hear all the good things you said about him. ❤️ We love hearing how he touched so many people. ❤️ Congratulations to the Class of 2025! 🦓
