The vision of freelancing hope is simple: to see the end of the exploitation of the vulnerable. We recognize that you or your organization may have already experienced abuse or exploitation. We exist because of you. We realize this vision of ending exploitation by assisting churches, faith-based and youth-serving organizations, and individuals with the tools needed to create and sustain safe envir

onments for children and vulnerable adults. This looks like child and vulnerable adult protection and abuse prevention policies, connection to existing resources, simple assessment and evaluation, awakening of values, education, and basic organizational readiness for change. Amy Lynn Smith, founder and director freelancing hope, holds an MSW from Roberts Wesleyan College and an MA in Theology and Social Justice from Northeastern Seminary. She also partner's with Rochester's Child Advocacy Center as an authorized facilitator of Darkness to Light's Stewards of Children child sexual abuse prevention training. She is ready to assist you with this evidence informed training. This is challenging and, often, personal work. There is always hope! Want to know more?
