It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Mr. Dil Bahadur Rai, father of our community member Prem Chamling Rai. Mr. Rai passed away in Beldangi-2, Jhapa, Nepal. He was originally from Domokha Beteni, Chirang, Bhutan.

Prem Chamling Rai has been a valued member of our Greater Rochester Bhutanese-Nepali community since arriving in the United States. During this difficult time, we ask our community members to keep Prem and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

The family is holding mourning rituals at their residence, and the final day of rituals will be on Saturday, June 13, 2026. We encourage those who are able to stop by, offer condolences, and support the family.

This tournament is all about bringing our community together through soccer, competition, and connection. Teams from different states will be joining us here in Rochester for an exciting weekend of games and fun.
