With deep sadness, we share the passing of our community elder, Mrs Deo Maya Adhikari, who passed away on October 5th, 2026, at the age of 84.

She was born on July 1st,1942 AD, in Chirang, Bhutan and was residing with her family in West Henrietta. Mrs. Adhikari lived a long life and leaves behind family, friends, and many in our community who will remember her with love and respect.

On behalf of the Bhutanese Community of Greater Rochester, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Adhikari family during this difficult time.
