FIRST Team 3173: The IgKNIGHTers We are a multi-school FIRST Robotics team based at McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester, NY. Welcome to our page!

We are a multi-school FIRST Robotics team based at McQuaid Jesuit High School in Rochester, New York. The IgKnighters strive to combine our team’s identity of “Men and Women for Others” with the values represented by the FIRST Robotics community. Our team actively mentors and sponsors multiple FLL teams throughout Western New York to igknight students’ interest in STEM. Our core values of respect,

teamwork, leadership, and cooperation are integral ideals that we incorporate into every meeting, competition, and event that we participate in or sponsor. All of our students volunteer throughout the year in our local area in ways that benefit the community.

Our prayers are with your team and the whole community. Kendrick, you are a hero and it is a tremendous loss to the FIRST family.

On Tuesday, the FIRST community lost one of its own. We are heartbroken by the death of Kendrick Castillo, a victim of the STEM School Highlands Ranch shooting in Littleton, Colorado. Kendrick was a member of FIRST Robotics Competition Team 4418, STEM IMPULSE, of which his father is Lead Mentor. Our hearts go out to Kendrick’s family and friends, and to all affected by the shooting. FIRST stands with Team 4418 and the entire Littleton community during this incredibly difficult time.
