Caiden and Kaylie Charity Softball Event A charity softball event to help raise awareness to pre term child birth in memory of my twins Caiden and Kaylie They were born premature, too soon to survive.

Caiden Shea and Kaylie Jordyn were born April 24th, 2011. I made a promise to them that I would visit them each and every Sunday and that I would never allow their names to be forgotten. Each year I host a charity softball game in their memory. The event is just for fun, there are no trophies, no prizes. It is meant to help raise awareness for premature child birth and raise funds to help the High

land Hospital Special Care Nursery. Caiden and Kaylies event is an event to help remember, its a day of healing, a day to have fun raising awareness to a topic that typically doesn't get mentioned but most of all, its a day of hope! Hope that one day no family will have to endure the nightmare of losing their child prematurely. Thank you for supporting this event and helping me keep their names alive!

I’m trying to hold out as long as I can before making the call but things do not look good tomorrow!

As much as I want the event to go tomorrow, I also don’t want to risk anyone’s safety!

I will watch the afternoon forecast before I make the call but if we do have to reschedule the dates that the city has given me so far are:

August 7th
August 8th

August 14th
August 15th

I would love to have each team available and I’m hoping one of those 4 days works for everyone!

I will keep you updated later today as far as the plan for tomorrow but right now it doesn’t not look promising!

With the weather forecast for sat this is going to be a last minute call unfortunately!
The city has stated that if we have to cancel they will gladly allow the permit to be transferred to another available date.
Not that I’m afraid of rain, it’s just the amount of rain some models are calling for, I don’t want to risk anyone getting hurt.
I hope that if we do have to reschedule that all teams will be able participate and we will work for a weekend that is best for everyone!
Again as of now the games are still on but I would much rather be proactive than reactive and I don’t want any of you risking getting hurt.
