Gerhardt Neighborhood Outreach Center The GNOC is housed in an iconic building on the corner of Bay and Goodman in the Beachwood neighborhood of Rochester New York.

@ The corner of Bay & Goodman, the GNOC is here to serve, helping our community find HOPE and lasting TRANSFORMATION Many years ago this building was a key part of the neighborhood and was home to some thriving businesses and apartments. In more recent years the building had fallen into disrepair and still had some businesses but als

o was home to a lot of crime and problems. It was then purchased to house the GNOC and completely renovated with the help of many volunteers and several churches. After several years of work the building now has, Joy Family Medicine (a doctor’s office), Place of Hope (a pregnancy support service), James Place (an addictions counseling center), Cross Culture Youth Center (a safe place for youth to come together), The Learning Center (a computer based training area), The Hope Shop (a food pantry to help those in the neighborhood), Bundles of Joy (a clothing support place for families with very young children), an apartment for the building support staff and another apartment for emergency housing. The building no longer is a haven for trouble but rather a place that gives encouragement to the community and gives back to the neighborhood.

The Hope Shop will have additional hours during November for those in need of non perishable food items.

Weekly Meal & Groceries Support:
Fridays 12:00 to 1:00pm

○November 17th: 4:00pm -6:00pm
○November 26th: 9:00am - 12:00pm

○●○● 2025 School Supply BASH was a BLAST! ○●○●

Over 100 families came through with over 200 children getting great backpacks and supplies to launch into thier next year of growing in wisdom. So excited for all of them!!

As a reminder, this event helps the amazing team at the Gerhardt Neighborhood Outreach Center (GNOC) continue to support the community with meals, groceries, after school programs, summer events, crisis housing and counseling as they provide a hand up to families in Rochester.
