Tri-County Minnesota Pheasants Forever Chapter # 004 Tri-County has been instrumental in the acquisition of over 1500 acres of land in the Tri-County area that have been converted into WMAs.

The Tri-County Chapter of Pheasants Forever is dedicated to acquisition and enhancement of land in Dodge, Fillmore, and Olmsted Counties for use by the public for hunting, trapping, hiking, or nature study. To Members & Donors

The Tri-County Chapter of Pheasants Forever is dedicated to acquisition and enhancement of land in Dodge, Fillmore, and Olmsted Counties for use by the public for hunting,

trapping, hiking, or nature study. In 2013 Tri-County has been involved in enhancing the nesting cover and creation of of food plots on several of these WMAs. Tri-county is actively involved with our area youth. Tri-county has been awarded the Minnesota Youth Chapter of the year EIGHT times, and continues to show our dedication to our youth programs. We provide free annual PF Ringneck membership for the youth who attend our banquet. We help cover the cost of youth attending camps such as T.U.N.E. and deer/turkey hunting for challenged children. In October we hosted the 6th annual DNR / PF sponsored mentor pheasant hunt. The young & woman outdoorsmen received remedial safety training, shot trap, and enjoyed a guided hunt. Tri-County was awarded 1 of 3 “Young Guns” packages awarded in Minnesota. The package is a starter kit for youth events. Tri-County partnered with Mower County PF, the Three Arrows Hunting Preserve in LeRoy, and the Hormel Institute to offer the first “Hunting for a Cure” breast cancer awareness hunt Oct. 5th. With your continued support, Tri-County Pheasants Forever will protect, restore, and enhance wildlife habitat by establishing and maintaining local projects; develop, distribute and foster conservation education; and acquire and preserve critical habitat open to public hunting.
