What a fun final week of summer camps with Camp Cobblestone at The Mercy Summer Collective—and what an incredible summer it has been! ☀️💙

From wild experiments and time travel to talent shows and top-secret missions, our campers packed the week with laughter, creativity, friendship, and plenty of FUN!

Some of the sweetest memories happened between the big adventures: visits from the ice cream truck, creative projects, games and surprises, a pop-up bookstore shopping experience, and, of course, water play day!

One especially meaningful moment was creating beautiful flower bouquets for the Sisters of Mercy and personally delivering them to the sisters. Watching our campers experience the joy of giving back and connecting with our Mercy community made these visits a true highlight of the summer. 💐

As we close out another summer, we’re feeling especially grateful. Thank you to every camper who joined us, the families who shared their summers with us, and the incredible camp leaders, coaches, faculty, staff, and volunteers who made each experience possible.

We loved every adventure of Summer 2026—and we’re already looking forward to what’s ahead in 2027! 🌟

☕ Coffee Order: I am actually not a huge coffee drinker! But, if I do get “dragged” to Starbucks by my daughter, my order is usually a banana bread matcha.

📖 What’s on Your Desk: A very special part of my desk is two framed quotes from people who have had a meaningful impact on my life. The first is from my mom, who passed away four years ago, and the second is a quote from former NBA player now college coach, Penny Hardaway. Both quotes remind me of the power we have to make a difference in someone else’s life and that the things we do, big or small, can have a lasting impact on others.

💙What Brought you to Mercy: I came to Mercy for an event that was open to the community, and from the moment I stepped into the building, I could feel the incredible energy and enthusiasm. I remember thinking to myself, “This is the kind of environment I want to be part of.”

🎓What Do You Like Most About Working at Mercy: I am continually blown away by the incredible poise, curiosity, and genuine desire to learn that our students have. The confidence, thoughtfulness, and passion these young women bring to everything they do is remarkable. Mercy girls are simply incredible, and I feel so fortunate to witness their growth and accomplishments firsthand.

One of the greatest benefits of being part of the Mercy Education System is the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and grow alongside Mercy educators from around the world. 🌎💙

This year, Our Lady of Mercy's own Christine Kvam, Director of Campus Ministry, had the honor of serving as one of the presenters at the Partners in Ministry Leadership Academy, where educators from 23 Mercy schools across Argentina, Belize, Honduras, Jamaica, and the U.S. came together for two days of learning, reflection, and connection.

We're proud to see Christine sharing her gifts on the international Mercy stage and bringing those insights and relationships back to enrich the Mercy community here at home.

We are SO impressed by this amazing group of young performers who learned an entire show in just ONE WEEK and brought it to life on stage! 🎭

In only a few short days, lines were learned, songs were sung, choreography came together, and characters came to life. But even more importantly, new friendships were made, confidence grew, and risks were taken. 💙

For some, this was another chance to shine on stage. For others, it was their ✨very first time performing✨ and stepping outside their comfort zones, trying something completely new, and discovering just how much they are capable of. We couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them!

And judging by how many of our performers are already asking what’s in store for next summer… we’d say the future of Mercy Summer Theater is looking pretty bright!

Congratulations to our entire 101 Dalmatians JR. cast and crew on an amazing week and a fantastic show. Bravo! 👏

Mercy Crew is launching a ✨Modified Rowing Program✨ for 6th–8th graders who want to give rowing a try!

This beginner-friendly, non-competitive program is all about learning the sport, building confidence, and having fun on the water. Practices include a combination of land training, erg work, and on-water instruction. 🚣

Registration is now open at mercycrew.org for both our Competitive and Modified programs.
