🚨 Training Spotlight! 🚨
This week St. Paul firefighters have been working with a few interns from the Monroe County public Safety Intern program.

Kathryn, one of the interns, spent time with Group 2 firefighters, gaining hands-on experience during a Person vs. Machine drill and High Angle Rope Operations.
Real-world training like this builds the skills, teamwork, and confidence needed to respond when it matters most.

Great work by everyone involved and good luck as you continue your public safety education!

The Irondequoit Professional Firefighters Local 4176, in collaboration with the Irondequoit Fire Chiefs, Irondequoit Police Department, and the Ridge Culver and Laurelton Fire Associations, are proud to announce the success of this year’s toy drive. Together, we raised over $7,000 to purchase toys for donation, in addition to the hundreds of toys generously contributed by the local community.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Target in Irondequoit for their continued support and for graciously hosting us for the fifth consecutive year. Special thanks also go to Chick-fil-a for their generous donation of lunch, which was greatly appreciated by all involved.
A sincere thank you to Shamrock Jacks, a longstanding Irondequoit staple, for hosting the fun run and donation collection stop.

This event would not have been possible without the tireless contributions of individuals, businesses, and organizations that came together to make this year’s toy drive a resounding success. We are deeply grateful for the spirit of giving that continues to make a positive impact on our community.

Today, on Veterans Day, Local 4176 proudly thanks and honors all those who have served our nation. Your dedication, courage, and sacrifice ensure the freedoms we cherish every day.

This year, Local 4176 raised funds through our custom Veterans Day shirts, with all proceeds being donated to a veterans organization in support of those who served.
