A message to our riders and broader motorcycle community

We are sharing this message to raise awareness and ask for assistance.

A few days ago, in the Greece area, a longtime volunteer and a friend were out walking when they were randomly targeted by the occupants of a red Chevy Equinox, who fired paintballs at them from the vehicle.

Our volunteer was struck multiple times in the head, back, and leg. Her friend was also hit. Both sustained painful injuries. Police responded and a report was taken, but unfortunately no license plate was obtained.

This message is being shared with our riders and broader motorcycle community, many of whom support and work alongside local law enforcement. If anyone encounters a red Chevy Equinox involved in this behavior, do not engage or confront the occupants. If it can be done safely, please note the license plate, location, and direction of travel, and report it to law enforcement immediately.

To the individuals responsible: what may have seemed like a prank caused real harm. This incident is now known within a much wider community, and any further incidents of this nature are more likely to be identified and reported to law enforcement.

Thank you to everyone who helps keep our communities safe by staying aware and reporting what they see.

After a great deal of discussion and effort, we have made the difficult decision not to hold the Operation Patriot Foundation “Let’s Roll!” 9/11 Tribute Ride & Concert in 2026.

This year would have marked the 25th Anniversary of both 9/11 and our organization, making this decision especially difficult for everyone involved.

Unfortunately, after our attempts to secure our traditional dates and location earlier this year, we recently learned they would not be available. We spent the past several weeks exploring alternative venues and formats in an effort to keep the event alive for this milestone year. Despite those efforts, we were ultimately unable to secure a suitable location at such short notice that would allow us to present the type of event our sponsors and supporters have come to expect and deserve.

For 25 years, this event has brought people together to remember those we lost on September 11th and pay tribute to those who continue to serve, while supporting organizations that assist fire, police, and military personnel in their time of need. We are incredibly proud that 100% of the funds raised over the years have gone directly back to those causes.

To every volunteer, sponsor, rider, attendee, band, vendor, first responder, and supporter who has stood with us over the past 25 years — thank you. We would also like to recognize long-time sponsors including Wegmans, UpstateBikerLawyer.com, The Home Depot, and Bidleman Harley-Davidson, whose consistent commitment to our mission and organization over the years has played a major role in helping make this event possible.

We encourage everyone to take time this September to remember and honor those impacted by the events of 9/11 and those who continue to serve our communities and country today.

We will never forget.

Truly a Weekend to “Never Forget!” 🇺🇸

We’re PUMPED to announce our record donation of $31,500.00 to Honor Flight Rochester from this year’s 25th Annual “Let’s Roll!” 9/11 Tribute Ride & Concert!

A heartfelt thank you to the Good Lord for making this possible — “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

Special thanks to our incredible sponsors for their generosity, our amazing volunteers and staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and to the phenomenal bands — Forever Seger, The Seven Wonders, Begging Angels, UnParallel Band Duo, and our friends from Junkyardfieldtrip. Your heart, energy, and spirit made this truly a “Weekend to Remember.”

We also want to recognize our vendors, ceremony performers, and guest speakers — and of course, everyone who came out to support this incredible weekend of remembrance and unity! It just doesn’t happen without YOU!

Because of you, more of our local heroes will get the chance to visit the memorials built in their honor — a trip of a lifetime they so richly deserve.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for helping us keep the promise to “Never Forget.” ❤️🤍💙

Remembering that day.

On September 11, 2001, like so many others, I sat watching — stunned — as the unthinkable unfolded.

I remember watching the smoke billowing from the North Tower as the nation wondered.

I remember watching in horror as the second plane plowed into the South Tower.

I remember the 343 firefighters and the 73 LEOs who ran into those towers as the nation gasped.

I remember the ash-covered faces running through the smoke as the towers came down.

I remember the faces of the missing being posted on makeshift bulletin boards as hope dwindled.

I remember Todd Beamer’s last words — “Let’s Roll!” — as he and other passengers rushed the hijackers.

I remember a country coming together and putting aside its differences as every shelf was stripped of the American flag.

I remember promising myself that I would Never Forget.

Twenty-four years later, that promise hasn’t faded. Every year, I pour my time, my energy, my heart into this event… not for applause, not for a paycheck, not even for “likes.”

For me, it’s not about the ride. It’s not about the concerts. It’s not about the food, the beer or the wine, the vendors or the auctions… it’s about remembering those faces. It’s about honoring those who stepped in after them — who wouldn’t think twice about running into those towers for you and me.

Take a moment to remember. Remember those we lost, and help us pay tribute to those who serve.

WOW. What a year. Soaring highs, crashing lows — and absolutely a Weekend to Remember.

The moments that stay with me: the National Anthem that once again brought a tear to my eye… the silence before “Amazing Grace”… veterans with hands over hearts… the hugs, the tears, the laughter — and strangers who felt like family by day’s end.

For now, cold brew in hand, I’m kickin’ back — it’s been one incredible journey this year.
Tomorrow I’m watchin’ the ‘Skins game!

More to come Tuesday. Drop your comments, pictures, and videos below — let us see the weekend through your eyes.
