Spend a fun evening out with friends while giving back!

Friends of Strong’s last Painting Party of 2026 is on October 29, 5:30pm to 7:30pm at The Distillery Restaurant on Winton Road. This event has two fall-themed painting options to choose from. You’ll create your very own 12x16 masterpiece, guided by professional artist Nora Gelb. All supplies are provided. 45% of all proceeds benefit Friends of Strong Memorial Hospital.

Be sure to arrive a little early since all food orders also give 20% back to Friends of Strong! We had an incredible turnout for our Celebrity Bartender Fundraiser this past Thursday. This event is always a favorite, and we are happy to say that this year, we raised almost $6,000 for Patient and Family Care Initiatives at Strong Memorial Hospital!

Congratulations to the winning Team One (A Psychologist and an Orthopaedist Walk Into a Bar) with Judy Baumhauer and Craig Rooney.

Thank you to everyone who attended, thank you to our wonderful bartenders, and of course, thank you to the entire team at GRAPPA! We look forward to having this event again next year!

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the families, first responders, firefighters, police officers, military members, and everyday heroes who showed extraordinary courage and sacrifice.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to remember, to honor, and to stand together. Please take a moment of silence today in remembrance.
