As a reminder this is a fundraiser for our Troop - youth will earn money towards their Scout accounts based on the hours they and their adult partners work.

Parking cars at the fairgrounds is a huge fundraiser for the troop. We need adults and scouts! This year we are also opening this up to adult members of the Pack and Arrow of Ligh Scouts. Huge thanks to Los Solano Ranch and the volunteers, leaders, and Scouts who helped make this an awesome weekend! This was a truly unique adventure!

About half the Troop came and slept in the field alongside the horses. We spent the morning learning about horses, brushing, and riding. After lunch we continued. We got to see the goats and the guinea hens. The Scouts who hadn't already earned it were able to complete all of the requirements for the Horsemanship Merit Badge and about half of the requirements for Animal Science. The Troop also helped out, clearing rocks out of the paddocks as a service project.
