Silver Alert issued in Bloomer for missing Kurt Neubauer, 61, White, Male, 5 ft 11 inches, 175 lbs, with blue eyes, brown hair, and a handlebar mustache. Missing on foot. Last seen wearing a Gray shirt, blue jeans, and gray shoes.

Missing from 520 block of Oak Street

Handler Jen Sauer and K9 Casey had the opportunity to participate in the Patriot exercise at/near Volk Field in Camp Douglas, Wisconsin today. The Patriot Exercise runs this week and is an emergency preparedness exercise involving federal and state agencies along with emergency response groups from throughout the state. Our task was to search a 31 acre forested area while other K9s from other Wisconsin K9 and search and rescue groups covered other areas. Thanks to all who organized our K9 event today. Special thanks to Tara from Valley Mounted Volunteers Inc. for being our support person—keeping us safe, recording information, handling communications, and navigation. It is always a team effort!

Great training scenarios today. Had two different side-by-side search areas set up. K9's had to work their area next to another dog. Everyone did well. Lack of wind to start the morning really made the search patterns challenging today, but after each handler reviewed their COB points, they went back out to their area as the wind picked up. Both K9's were successful.

Lots of seeds to brush out of the dogs when we all get home.
Chevy continues to work on his tracking skills and is doing well.

What a beautiful day to get outside to train. Temperatures have dropped and not bad humidity levels. Got in some land and water work today.

Fun day meeting up with Crystal Cb Wing as she travels through the area! Thanks again to Chester Woods Park - Olmsted County, Eyota, MN for allowing us to train at their facility and even hang out at the park office as the storm moved through.
