Afterschool enrichment works because it meets youth where they are.

Some days, that means homework help through Power Hour.
Some days, it means movement and wellness through Triple Play.
Some days, it means leadership, confidence, and decision-making through Positive Action, SMART Moves, or teen programming.

At Boys & Girls Club of Rochester, these programs add up. In our Club impact data, 98% of members expect to graduate high school, 92% have plans after graduation, 86% want to help their community, and 60% report volunteering at least once a month.

That is what sponsors make possible: not just one activity, but a full environment where youth can learn, move, connect, and grow.

🎉 That's a wrap on another amazing school year at Club! 🎉

Yesterday was the final day of our school-year programming, and we celebrated all that our members accomplished together.

A special thank you to our incredible Youth Development Professionals who show up every day to mentor, teach, encourage, and support our members. Your dedication and passion make a lasting impact on the lives of local youth, and we are so grateful for all you do.

To celebrate a great year, our staff fired up the grill and treated members to a special cookout. It was the perfect way to recognize a year full of learning, growth, friendships, and fun.

Today marks the last day of After-School Club, and what an amazing year it has been! 💙

We are so grateful for all of the youth, families, staff, volunteers, and supporters who made this year so special. While we take next week to prepare and train our staff for summer, we are already looking forward to kicking off Summer Club on June 15th! ☀️

Get ready for a summer full of fun with Club programming, special visitors, exciting new activities, and field trips. We can’t wait to share all the memories ahead!

Serving kids of all ages is so important because every stage of childhood and adolescence comes with unique challenges, opportunities, and needs. From helping young members build confidence and friendships to supporting teens with leadership, career readiness, and a safe place to belong, Club grows alongside the youth we serve.
