The Transgender and Intersex Specialty Care Clinic at Mayo has undergone significant growth in the last year.

Want to know what you can do to support transgender people?

Take a stand and be visible. Tell your family and friends that you support transgender people. Tell your co-workers that you support transgender people. No longer will silence be acceptable. The majority of this nation is supportive of transgender rights but the minority is louder than the majority.

Let's show them that this is not okay and no longer acceptable behavior. This is our country too.

Around 75 people lined Second Street in downtown Rochester Thursday to show their support for transgender troops.
