Quality of Life Keepers in Rochester, Minnesota, is a non-profit charitable organization with a 501(c)(3) IRS tax-free donation status. Our organization is completely donation based and membership is free. Our "Quality Keepers" staff members are trained volunteers and professionals from all walks of life - but they all have personally experienced life-changing illness, death of a loved one, or car
egiving. Also, they have each successfully restored a personal happiness and meaningful quality of life, even if they live with ongoing physical or life challenges and loss. Our Virtual Gathering Place is an online and telecommunications community where persons living with illness or grief, their families, friends, and caregivers can access educational tools, peer support, personal coaching, local resource coordination services, and personalized detail management (such as helping families and friends organize effective short-term or long-term local support, helping plan for the many details of leaving home for treatment, or finding your most dynamic or new talents and skills to help move your life forward.) We believe that with experienced peer understanding, support and guidance, restoring a positive and meaningful life with life-changing illness, grief, or caregiving is still possible - regardless of life's changes and challenges. If you have successfully overcome these challenges and restored your own quality of life, we are sure you have a lot to share with those now facing similar life-changing challenges.
