⚽️ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵: My kids - Playing soccer at a competitive level throughout my life has been one of my most rewarding and challenging endeavors. From injury to adversity, soccer politics, to undeniable skill and success, this sport, my teammates, and the coaches I've had along the way have molded me into who I am. I want my kids and their teammates to have that same opportunity; celebrating the victories, working through the challenges, and developing not only their skills on the field but in life!

⚽️ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴: Development - Being a part of an athlete's story, their core memories, and their love for the game is significant. We develop strong, balanced, and skilled teams; the result is their ability to win on and off the field!

⚽️ 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲: To stop time - If I knew then, what I know now as a coach...what an impact that would have made. Moments and memories come and go...hard losses, glorious wins... how wonderful would it be to live in the best moments!

⚽️ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵: How much I miss playing competitively.

⚽️ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴: Seeing my players happy playing while improving their game and skills.

⚽️ 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲: To be able to fly. I would be able to get places fast and free.

🌟 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Joel Hachem

⚽️ 𝗔𝗴𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴: U8 Boys White

⚽️ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵: My inspiration comes from both my family and my own journey. My two boys, now 16 and 13, joined the club when they were 7 and have grown into who they are today because of the impact of great coaches. Growing up in Africa, I did not have a coach or mentor to guide me, so I had to figure things out on my own until I became a professional soccer player. That experience made me want to be the kind of coach and mentor I never had.

⚽️ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴: My favorite thing about coaching is the opportunity to have a positive influence on young players from the very beginning. Coaching college players is very different from coaching young kids, and I enjoy being part of that early stage where I can help shape their skills, confidence, habits, and love for the game in a meaningful way.

⚽️ 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲: I would choose the ability to pause time. That would give me the chance to handle more in a day, spend more time with the people I care about, and stay fully present in important moments.

⚽️ 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁: I love traveling, cooking, and spending time doing oddly specific tech experiments for fun, like testing the limits of my own network in ways only I would think are interesting. I also enjoy the strange mix of being very hands-on in the kitchen while being very analytical with technology.

Looking for a flexible job with great pay? Consider being a youth soccer referee! There is a Grassroots Referee course coming up at the RSC Complex on August 29.

The New Referee course includes online modules that must be completed before attending an in-person field session. You will have access to the online modules once you have registered for the course. 🌎🏆 Stars Oakland Team Camp wrapped up as our U11-U18 afternoon session took over the fields for our popular World Cup event! The competition was fierce, the energy was high, and it all came down to Mexico vs Italy in the final!
