This could be YOUR opportunity to help make inclusion happen!
A position on RAA's Board of Directors or committees can make a HUGE impact on communities across Greater Rochester and New York State!

Please share this Invitation to Serve among your networks!

Flyer: Invitation to Serve on RAA's Board of Directors: Join us in our revolutionary work to truly transform recreation across New York State! Founded and grounded in Greater Rochester in 2015, our mission is to improve the health and wellness of people with disabilities by guiding communities to create a culture of social inclusion, physical accessibility, and equitable access in recreation, sports & tourism.

BECOME A BOARD MEMBER!

As we expand our impact throughout the region through strategic planning and growth, we seek members who bring diversity and experience in areas such as non-profit boards, medical professions, law, human resources, fundraising, and our community. People with disabilities, BIPOC, people with family members with a disability, and other intersections of life are especially invited to apply.

These two-year board positions will resonate well with individuals who value true inclusion of individuals with disabilities in the community and, importantly, who will energize others to invest in this level of systemic change.

Six annual full board meetings. Committees meet monthly. Bi-annual onboarding for new board members. Respond by Nov 15 with interest. Cohort starts Jan 2027.

We can't wait! Throughout the summer, we've been working with Call of the Loon Productions to design critically important educational videos that will help directly connect people living with disabilities to inclusive opportunities with our Inclusion Partners for health and wellness through recreation!

It's been so much fun! Stay tuned! Follow us and don't miss the updates!
