One of the largest community gardens in Western New York, Wide Water Gardens is an urban agricultural, educational and recreational resource for residents of the City of Rochester and surrounding communities. In the heart of Rochester's Upper Monroe neighborhood lies Wide Water Gardens, the City’s largest community garden. The centerpiece of the gardens is its 60 rentable plots that are open to an
yone interested in growing their own produce or flowers in an engaging community environment. Plots are available in several sizes (4’x4’ 4‘x12’ and 12‘x12’) and can be rented at low cost for an entire season. Complimenting the community plots are a variety of amenities, such as beautiful native perennial gardens, fruit trees, berry bushes, grape arbors and much more.
