Artists Unlimited is celebrating its 20th anniversary! Artists Unlimited is unlike anything you’ve seen before….

The sole mission of Artists Unlimited is to offer individuals with special needs the opportunity to perform and showcase their talents in a safe haven, and without the barriers or stereotypes often attributed to those who are disabled. We provide opportunity’s for, and celebrates the considerable talents of individuals with developmental, physical, or intellectual disabilities. We offer a truly un

ique and expressive experience to those individuals who may not otherwise have an opportunity to participate as actors in other venues. Since 2002 Artists Unlimited’s actors have dazzled audiences by performing Broadway caliber works with the message of inclusion and respect. In our 20 years we’ve produced dozens of musicals — featuring dazzling sets and costumes, a magnificent orchestra, flying sequences and of course our world-class performers. Popular family-friendly hits in our lineup have included: Wizard of Oz, Cinderella, Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, Annie, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, and Shrek The Musical. What an incredible performance! 🎉❤️

Yesterday’s Artists Unlimited Inspire performance was truly something special. From the beautiful melodies of Voices and Voices Rise, to the energy and rhythm of Beats, and the creativity and confidence on display from Dances, every performer brought their talent, passion, and heart to the stage.

We could not be more proud of all of our performers for the hard work, dedication, and courage they showed throughout the season and on stage yesterday. You inspired us all!

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing audience. Your enthusiasm helped make the day unforgettable. The theater was filled with clapping, cheering, singing along, and even people on their feet celebrating our performers. The joy and connection shared between the stage and the audience is what Inspire is all about.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, supported, donated, and helped make this year’s performance a success. Together, we created an afternoon filled with music, movement, friendship, and community.

🌟 SPOTLIGHT ON VOICES RISE 🌟

This year, we’re excited to introduce Voices Rise, one of the newest additions to the Artists Unlimited family! Led by director Sarah Staebell, Voices Rise is a small vocal ensemble made up of invited performers who were excited to take on this new opportunity.

Over the past several months, the group has been working hard, growing together, and preparing a special set for today’s performance. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and love of music have made this new program a wonderful addition to Inspire, and we can’t wait for them to share what they’ve been working on.

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers! 💙

Today, an amazing team of volunteers came together to help prepare for one of our favorite days of the year — Artists Unlimited’s 16th Annual Inspire Performance!🎭🎶🥁

From setting up, organizing, and making sure every detail is ready, their hard work helps make this event possible. We are so grateful for the time, energy, and heart they pour into supporting our performers and our mission.

Tomorrow, our talented performers of all abilities will take the stage to share their gifts through music, dance, and rhythm. You’ll see performances from:

🌟 Cast Spotlight: Katie 🌟

This week’s spotlight goes out to Katie, a longtime member of the Artists Unlimited family! 💖

Katie has been part of AU for an incredible 18 years and this year she is performing with our Dances program! 💃🎶

Over nearly two decades with Artists Unlimited, Katie has created so many special memories. One of her favorites was receiving her very first speaking role as Secretary Perkins in Annie! 🎭 Stepping into that role was a memorable milestone and one that still holds a special place in her heart.

When asked what Artists Unlimited means to her, Katie’s answer perfectly captures the spirit of AU:
💙 “Being with friends and having a fun time.”

At Artists Unlimited, friendships, laughter, and shared experiences are what make our community so special, and Katie has been helping create that magic for 18 years. 🌟

🎶 Today, we celebrate Indoor Voices! 🎶

We are so proud of everything this incredible group has accomplished this session and can’t wait for family and friends to experience their special performance tonight.

**Indoor Voices**, led by director Sarah Staebell, is one of our newest Artists Unlimited programs and was created with sensory needs in mind. This group provides a welcoming space for individuals who love to sing but may feel more comfortable in a smaller, quieter environment. With adapted vocal warmups, comfortable volume levels, and a focus on respecting each participant’s unique needs, Indoor Voices offers an inclusive and supportive musical experience for all.

Tonight’s performance give singers the opportunity to share their hard work in an intimate setting surrounded by the people who support them most.

We are incredibly proud of each performer for their dedication, growth, and courage this season. Thank you to Sarah for creating such a meaningful program and to our singers for sharing their voices with us.

🌟 Cast Spotlight: Mia 🌟
This week, we’re excited to spotlight Mia, one of the talented members of our new Voices Rise ensemble! 🎶✨

Mia has been a part of three Inspire performances, and we are so grateful to have her as part of the Artists Unlimited family. 💖

When asked about her favorite AU memory, Mia immediately thought of performing “Come Alive” from The Greatest Showman. 🎭🌟 The energy, music, and dancing made it an unforgettable experience!

When asked what being part of Artists Unlimited means to her, Mia shared: 💙 “I am thankful for the opportunity to sing and dance with friends. It’s special to be part of such an awesome show.”

We love how Mia’s words capture what Artists Unlimited is all about…friendship, creativity, and the joy of performing together!

🌟 Cast Spotlight: Jenna 🌟
This week, we’re shining the spotlight on the incredible Jenna! 💖

Jenna has been part of the Artists Unlimited family for an amazing 19 years!! 🎉

This year, Jenna will be part of our annual production (stay tuned for the show announcement 👀) and she’s also joining our brand new group, Voices Rise! 🎶✨ We can’t wait for everyone to see this exciting new group perform at Inspire — more details coming soon!

Over the years, Jenna has created countless special memories with AU. Some of her favorites include:
💙 Always knowing her dad would be there running microphones backstage
💙 Having her sister Tess help transform her and her friends into their characters with hair and makeup
💙 Playing unforgettable roles like Ursula, The Lion, Miss Hannigan, Mrs. Potts, Mayzie La Bird, Dragon, and so many more amazing characters!

And while she’s loved every role she’s played, Jenna says her absolute favorite thing is simply being on stage with her friends. 💫

When asked what Artists Unlimited means to her, Jenna shared:
💙 “AU to me is like being home. I am always accepted and loved for what I bring to the group. We all have special talents and we all encourage each other to do our best. The friends I have made are like family to me. And my family is my biggest support.”

🌟 Cast Spotlight: Stephanie 🌟

This week, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Stephanie! 💖✨

Stephanie has been a part of the Artists Unlimited family for an incredible 18 years 🎉 This year, you can find her performing in Voices, our brand-new Voices Rise Advanced Choral Ensemble directed by Sarah Staebell, and our annual fall show! 🎶🎭

Over the years, Stephanie has created so many wonderful memories on stage. Two of her favorites include playing the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz during her very first year with AU and taking on the role of the Wicked Stepmother in Cinderella!

Noticing a pattern? We think Stephanie has a special talent for bringing these unforgettable characters to life! 💚

When asked what Artists Unlimited means to her, Stephanie shared:
💙 “Artists Unlimited is very important to me, especially when performing with people that have become some of my really good friends.”

At AU, friendships are at the heart of everything we do, and Stephanie’s dedication, talent, and kindness have made her such an important part of our community for nearly two decades.

🎶🥁 BIG NEWS for Inspire 2026! 🥁🎶

Inspire is our annual performance for people of all abilities, offering opportunities in music, dance, and now… DRUMMING!

We are so excited to be adding new opportunities to Inspire 2026, including one of our newest groups, Beats, Bucket Drumming and Percussion, directed by 🥁

Aaron shared:
“Beats is a new program that focuses on rhythm and groove. We use a few basic instruments to make sounds that make you want to dance! It’s fun to play along with the beats in songs that we love, and it’s fun to be able to do that with our friends. It’s exciting that we have so many different ways to express ourselves.”
