A nice throwback from last year! T-minus 15 hours until gates open BUT only an hour and a half until our fabulous barn dance is held in the Ralph Stoppel barn on the HCOC grounds! Buy a button at the gate for $10 which is good the whole weekend! See you soon!

This year we have a new hay exhibit! Come see this equipment and more! All of this was restored by a group of young adult volunteers over the last two summers!

The coolest event of the summer is fast approaching! Get your buttons now either online or at the History Center of Olmsted County!

Step back in time and experience the sights, sounds, and marvels of early American rural life at the annual Days of Yesteryear celebration hosted by the Mechanical History Round Table. Festivities begin Friday, August 7th, 2026 at 2pm with the DOY Senior Preview, followed in the evening at 7pm with a dance at the George Stoppel Barn. The fun continues Saturday, August 8th and Sunday, August 9th from 9am to 5pm at the Ralph Stoppel Farmstead where Oliver, Cockshutt, and White tractors will be featured. This family-friendly weekend transports you to a bygone era with thrilling live demonstrations: watch massive steam tractors chug into action, witness traditional oat threshing, and enjoy the classic "parade of power". Visitors of all ages can try their hand at pioneer crafts like rope making, watch the tinsmith, catch an authentic 1860s vintage base ball game with the Roosters, and grab some delicious local food.

Come enjoy horse drawn sleigh rides this Valentine's Day! Bring your sweetheart or some friends and enjoy! Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided to enjoy around the bonfire!

Rides are free and all donations go to the Special Olympics! Hope to see you there!
