At participating farmers’ markets, farm stands, CSAs, and grocery retailers when shoppers spend SNAP/EBT we increase their purchasing power. It’s easy! Simply shop with SNAP/EBT and Granite State Market Match or Double Up Food Bucks at participating acceptance sites, and get a discount on fruits, vegetables, herbs, seeds, and/or seedlings.

When school is out, many children lose access to essential school meals. To help close this gap, the NH Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is operating the Summer EBT program for 2026.

Benefit: A one-time issuance of $120 per eligible child to buy groceries.
Delivery: Provided on a separate S-EBT card. Note: Existing cards from prior years will be automatically reloaded.

How Families Receive Benefits:

Group 1: No Action Required -- Automatic Enrollment
Benefits will automatically load onto the S-EBT card if the child attends a NH public school and meets either criteria:
• The family is enrolled in SNAP or TANF.
• The child received free/reduced school meals during the 2025-2026 school year AND is on Medicaid.
Lost card from last year? Call 603-271-7373 for a replacement.

Group 2: Action Required -- Address Confirmation
If a child received free/reduced school meals in 2025-2026 but the family is not on SNAP, TANF, or Medicaid, the family MUST confirm their address to receive their card in the mail:
• Go to nheasy.nh.gov
• Click the Summer EBT portal link on the homepage.
• Confirm the current mailing address.

Group 3: Apply for Benefits
Families who do not match Group 1 or 2 may still qualify. Households with school-aged children and an income at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level are eligible.
• Apply online at nheasy.nh.gov.
