A big thank you to all the members and retirees who came out to the 39th Annual IBEW 343 Awards Banquet!

It was a great night catching up, sharing some laughs, and recognizing the hard work and dedication that keeps our local strong. Events like this remind us how proud we are to be part of this brotherhood and sisterhood.

Congrats to all of our award recipients, and thanks to everyone who helped make the night happen. We appreciate you all!

IBEW Local 343 mourns the loss of retired brother Tom Huiting.

Please keep the Huiting family in your thoughts and in solidarity as we honor Brother Tom's life and service.

Tom N. Huiting, 82, of Rochester, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at Samaritan Bethany on April 1, 2026. Tom N. Huiting was born on December 11, 1943, in Rochester, Minnesota, to Norbert and Elizabeth (Mangan) Huiting. He graduated from John Marshall High School and later from Dunwoody Institute.....

A message from RENEW:
We would like to send a huge thank you to our union brothers and sisters, family members, and friends who helped us raise $3,124, which was way above our collective goal of $1525!!! We would also like to thank all our plungers who volunteered this year, as we tripled our numbers from last year! Thank you so much, everyone, and we look forward to another successful polar plunge in 2027. Hopefully, the weather is as beautiful next year as it was this February.
