To the Rochester Musicians' Association (from Marilyn Terpening):

People can friend Heidianna Terpening on Facebook as she has documented this past month so beautifully.

Dear Friends,

Yesterday evening, surrounded by his loving family, our dear friend, Ron Terpening, peacefully went home to dwell in the light and love of his Divine Creator. We have all been blessed by Ron's beautiful spirit and musical gifts, and his love will live on through the gifts he shared.

We will gather to remember and celebrate Ron on Sunday, July 7, at 2:00PM in the sanctuary of Downtown Presbyterian Church. I invite all of you to be part of a choir for this service, and I hope you will invite others who would like to sing. We will meet for rehearsal from 11:30-1PM in the sanctuary, then we will gather for a light lunch before the service at 2PM. It will be a memorable service of music and his life..

Please let me know at your earliest convenience (by Monday, July 1, if possible) whether you will be able to participate as a choir member for this service so that I can plan music appropriately. Also, please forward along this invitation to the many friends, students, and extended family with whom you may be in contact, so that we can raise the rafters with our voices in celebration of Ron's beautiful earthly journey with us.

Calling hours will take place on this Sunday, June 30th, at Bartolomeo and Perroto Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane, Rochester, NY 14626 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM.

In Peace,
LEE
