Create a public awareness of the homelessness problem facing Rochester area youth today through involving local youth in the awareness campaign by being a part of the media projects, fund raising events, and showcasing their talents in the community.
2. Hold Community Forums on Youth Homelessness in February & April, with county, state, and community groups who are interested in discussing and f
orming collaborations to address youth homelessness.
3. Assist LINK in building upon the foundation of their Transitional Housing Program through obtaining donations to furnish apartments for youth, encourage moral and material support from community members and businesses, and secure funding.
4. Assist LINK with renovating their Drop In Center and create additional storage, making the space more functional and accessible to youth.
5. Create a Youth Resource Center and a Youth Clothing Closet with Workforce Development Inc. that youth can access for job searching, homework assistance, resources, mentorship, support and professional clothing.
