West Irondequoit Central PTSA thanks everyone who made our first annual Color Run a resounding success! The event was a phenomenal fundraiser for our central PTSA, and we're already looking forward to an even bigger and brighter event next year!! 🌈

Today marks the 2026 West Irondequoit CSD Color A Thon at Irondequoit High School, where students, teachers, and parents will come together for a 1.2-mile walk/run to raise vital funds for the West Irondequoit Central PTSA.

The event kicks off at 11 am, promoting a sense of community and collective action. I

f you missed the initial sign-up, don't worry - you can still register on-site between 10 am and 11 am for a minimum donation of $20 per person. Alternatively, you can join in the fun by throwing colored powder on our participants, adding to the excitement and joy of the day. Registration takes place from 10 am to 11 am.

Get ready to run, walk, and get covered in color! The Color-a Thon is scheduled for THIS Saturday, June 6th. The event will go on rain or shine, so prepare to have fun regardless of the weather!

Here are a few important reminders for the day of the event:

When: Saturday, June 6, 2026
Check-In: Anytime between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM (this is where students will get their race t-shirt, color pack, and any other prizes they earned)
Event Start Time: 11:00 AM
Location: IHS concession stand (behind the tennis courts)

Did you miss the registration deadline or minimum donation?
No problem! You can still participate by paying a discounted $20 entry fee on the day of the event (payable in cash or check). Please note that this fee does not include the race T-shirt, so remember to wear your own plain white shirt to get the most out of the color stations!

After the run, celebrate your achievements and cool down with a tasty treat, as the Frios Popsicle Truck will be on-site for purchase! We hope to see you there!

Did you miss your chance to register your student for the Color-A-Thon scheduled for this Saturday, 6/6?!?

We are pleased to announce that day-of registration for the Color-a-Thon is now available at a discounted price of $20 per student, payable by cash or check. Check-in begins at 10am on event day, with the event beginning at 11am

**Please note that day-of registration includes event participation but does not include a Color-a-Thon shirt or an individual color pack (there will still be PLENTY of colored powder showered on participants!)**

Participants are encouraged to wear their own white shirts to get the full effect of the colored powder!

📣 REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED THROUGH 5/25!!!

The West Irondequoit PTSA is excited to invite our students and families to participate in the West Irondequoit Color‑A‑Thon, a district‑wide event that brings together families from across the West Irondequoit community for a fun day of color, movement, and school spirit—all while supporting PTSA programs.

📅 Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026
📍 Location: West Irondequoit High School (260 Cooper Road)
⏰ Check‑in: 10:00 AM | Race starts: 11:00 AM

Participants can run, walk, or dance through the course while being showered with color. There will also be music, local food trucks, and activities for all ages—fun for the whole family!

How to register:

Share your campaign link with family and friends

How participation and fundraising work:
When students register, no payment is required upfront.
Each student will create an online campaign page to share with family and friends to collect donations.

A minimum donation of $30.00 is required to participate, but the more you raise, the more prizes you can win!
All donations must be submitted electronically; cash and checks will not be accepted.

**Participating students must meet the $30 minimum by the deadline of May 25th**

💙 Our priority is inclusion. While this is a PTSA fundraiser, we want to ensure that every student who wishes to participate can do so. If your family may have difficulty reaching the minimum donation amount, please reach out—we are happy to work with you.
