Huge congratulations to Grady Goodberlet on being named a 2026 USA Lacrosse All-American! 🇺🇸🥍

This national honor recognizes the best of the best - and Grady has earned it through years of hard work, dedication, leadership, and an unbelievable impact on HF-L Boys Lacrosse.

A 4-year varsity player, Grady has built a career full of championship moments and record-breaking accomplishments: 240 goals, 85+ assists, two-time Section V Class C MVP, two-time All-Greater Rochester selection, New Balance All-American Games Highlight Division selection, four-time Class C Section V Champion, and now the all-time career goal leader for HF-L.

From stepping onto varsity as an 8th grader to helping lead this program to four straight Section V titles, Grady has left an incredible legacy of excellence, toughness, and pride in the HF-L jersey.

Huge congratulations to Shaye Angelo on being named a 2026 USA Lacrosse Girls Lacrosse All-American! 🇺🇸🥍
This honor is reserved for the very best - and Shaye has earned every bit of it through years of hard work, leadership, grit, and an unmatched love for the game.

A 5-year varsity player, attack + draw specialist, 2-year team captain, Duke University commit, and 2026 New Balance All-American Games selection, Shaye has left her mark all over HF-L Girls Lacrosse. With 300+ goals, 150+ assists, 450+ draw controls, two Section V Tournament MVP honors, and three All-Greater Rochester selections, her impact has been nothing short of incredible.

And in her 5 years on varsity, Shaye helped lead HF-L to 4 Section V Championships - a legacy of excellence, commitment, and championship-level play.

But beyond the stats and accolades, Shaye has been a fierce competitor, a leader, a teammate, and a role model who has helped raise the standard for HF-L lacrosse.

Huge congratulations to Tessa Peinkofer on receiving the 2026 USA Lacrosse Jackie Pitts Award - the Section V Girls Lacrosse recipient! 👏🥍

This honor recognizes a senior who goes above and beyond in service to her team, school, community, and the game of lacrosse - and Tessa has done exactly that.

As one of our 2026 team captains, Tessa led with heart, dedication, and pride. She was instrumental in our Sisters Supporting Sisters program, helping pair Girls Varsity players with our 3/4 youth girls to build confidence, connection, and a love for the game. She also helped a local Girl Scout troop earn their Teamwork Badge by mentoring them and sharing what makes lacrosse so special.

On the field, in the classroom, and throughout our community, Tessa has been an incredible teammate, role model, leader, and example of what it means to honor the game.

A huge congratulations to our HF-L Varsity Lacrosse players and coaches recognized by the Monroe County Public School Athletic Conference for their outstanding 2025–26 season!

These honors are a reflection of the dedication, grit, teamwork, and countless hours of hard work each player poured into this season — in practice, in games, and every moment in between. You represented HF-L with pride, competed with heart, and continued to raise the standard for Cougar Lacrosse.

With this incredible win, our Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team has captured the program’s 16th Section V Championship — a milestone that speaks to the strength, tradition, and excellence of HF-L girls lacrosse.

From the players on the field to the coaches on the sidelines, this championship is a reflection of hard work, heart, leadership, and a team that showed up when it mattered most.

Our youth players, families, alumni, and the entire Cougar community are so proud of you.

From the youngest Cougars to our Varsity leaders — this is what HFL Girls Lacrosse is all about. 💛🥍🖤

Our Girls 3/4 players had the chance to play alongside the Varsity team, sharing smiles, skills, encouragement, and a reminder that every big goal starts with a love for the game.

Now, our entire Youth Program is cheering loud for our Girls Varsity team as they head into the Sectional Finals on June 2!

CONGRATULATIONS, BOYS VARSITY! 🥍🐾

The HF-L Boys Lacrosse are Section V Class C Champions once again!

With today’s victory, our Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team has captured their 4th Section V title in a row and their 5th Section V title overall — an incredible accomplishment and a true testament to the hard work, leadership, commitment, and team-first mentality of this program.

From our youth players watching in the stands to the families, coaches, alumni, and fans cheering them on, Cougar Nation could not be more proud.

Congratulations to our players and coaches on another unforgettable championship run.
