How has it already been 2 weeks since the Night of PossAbilities gala?

We were honored to listen as people we support took the stage and shared their talent through music, stories, and poetry. A powerful reminder of the importance of being heard, valued, and celebrated. We recognized Olmsted County Sheriff Kevin Torgerson and Lori Torgerson with an Exceptional Service Award, and Senator John Hoffman and family with an Outstanding Courage & Commitment Award. Throughout the evening, we felt the generosity and kindness of a community that believes in showing up for one another.

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, a time to celebrate the skills and talents people with disabilities bring to workplaces. Featured are a few of the hard-working people behind that story. Through our partnership with Mayo Clinic, they label test tubes with such precision, one tube at a time.

The Night of PossAbilities gala was an extraordinary evening of gratitude and connection.

We were moved by a special vocal performance, an interview panel by clients we serve, and an appreciation poem by an Artabilities Poet. The award presentation honored Kevin and Lori Torgerson, along with Senator John Hoffman and his wife Yvette Hoffman for their remarkable service and advocacy.
