That’s a wrap on OPC’s annual 50+ Expo! 🎉

What do you get when you take a 90,000-square-foot facility, fill it with more than 80 local experts in senior services and products, invite the community, and let it all unfold?

You get an incredible day filled with giveaways, connection, helpful information, and plenty of fun!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, made connections, and helped make the day such a success. And to all of our incredible vendors — thank you for sharing your time, expertise, and resources with our community.

OPC’s art teacher, Susan Sanderson, created a beautiful mural for Downtown Rochester’s Magical Mural Tour titled “Where Community Blooms,” located near Rochester Municipal Park. Does anyone recognize what she painted?

✨ That’s a wrap on Tangle-Con 2026! ✨

What an incredible three days of creativity, connection, and, of course, Zentangle! 🖊️🎨

We welcomed participants who traveled from multiple states, while others joined us virtually from around the world. Together, we spent three inspiring days creating beautiful and unique pieces—from tote bags and coffee mugs to pouches, notebooks and so much more!

So, what exactly is Zentangle? It’s a relaxing, mindful art method that uses simple patterns and structured drawing to create intricate designs—making it a wonderful way to slow down, get creative, and enjoy the process.

And the creativity doesn’t stop with Tangle-Con! OPC offers multiple Zentangle classes each month, giving you plenty of opportunities to learn, create, and connect with fellow artists.

Our 2nd Annual Pickleball Tournament last Saturday was packed with great competition, exciting rallies, and plenty of fun on the courts. With 42 competitors across three categories—Advanced, Intermediate, and Novice—there was no shortage of impressive play, big shots, and great sportsmanship!

And it wasn’t just the players who brought the energy, we had a fantastic crowd of spectators cheering them on throughout the day! Thank you to everyone who came out to watch, support the players, and be part of the excitement. 👏

Today, on World Alzheimer’s Day, we recognize the millions of people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia — and the families, friends, and caregivers walking alongside them.

At OPC, we believe support should be available at every stage of the journey. Whether you’re noticing the first signs of memory loss, caring for a loved one, or looking for meaningful ways to stay connected and engaged, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

A welcoming opportunity for individuals experiencing memory loss and their care partners to connect, socialize, and enjoy time together in a supportive environment.

💜 Alzheimer’s/Dementia Caregiver Support Group
