Primary Project training is officially underway for the 2026-27 school year!
This week, the Boys Town South Florida team came together for a day and a half of learning, collaboration, and preparation. They shared ideas, practiced child-centered skills, and strengthened connections as they got ready for the year ahead. We’re thrilled to be working with Kristin Lynch and her colleagues from the Children’s Institute to offer Ready to Grow screenings for our students at Winton Road Nursery School. These optional comprehensive screenings are offered to families with children age 1-5 at no cost. The screening includes areas like speech, motor skills, dental, vision, hearing, and cognitive development.

Professionals from the Children's Institute will visit the Sully Branch Library to provide free, quick, and fun health and developmental checks for children ages 1 - 5. This includes screenings for:

- speech and language development
- vision, hearing, dental, and height
- fine movement and gross motor development
- social and emotional development
