As NYGeoCon 2025 quickly approaches, we are looking for volunteers to help make the conference a success. This is a great way to get involved, meet new colleagues, and support New York’s premier GIS event!

We need volunteers in the following areas:

Session Moderators – help introduce speakers, keep sessions on time, and ensure things run smoothly. We will help you with everything you need!
Registration Desk Support – work alongside our conference management team to welcome attendees, answer questions, and provide on-site assistance.

NYGeoCon 2025 is almost here—and we don’t want you to miss out! If you’re planning to attend, please be sure to register soon and book your hotel room now. The deadline for the room discount is tomorrow at midnight!

Our discounted hotel block in Lake Placid is closing soon, and once it’s gone, regular rates will apply. Using the hotel block not only guarantees you the best price and convenience, but it also helps us keep the overall cost of the conference lower for everyone.

The full NYGeoCon 2025 agenda is now live! Take a look at the exciting sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities we have planned.

We’ve also extended the early registration deadline to September 15th – but don’t wait! Hotel blocks are filling quickly and will be closing soon. To secure the best rates on both registration and accommodations, we encourage you to register this week.

The NYS GIS Association Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday, October 9th from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Join us October 8–10 in beautiful Lake Placid for New York’s premier GIS conference. This only happens every other year, so don’t miss your chance to connect with colleagues, learn from industry leaders, and share your own work.
