Celebrate City Living

Celebrate City Living Your resource for learning about living in Rochester, New York. We share things that make living in special.

Celebrate City Living is your resource for learning about Rochester living and city housing. The Rochester Coalition for Neighborhood Living continually strives to be a comprehensive and clear resource for people anywhere along the spectrum of interest in city living. Anchored by the CelebrateCityLiving.com web site, the Coalition also:

- Promotes City living through the annual Celebrate City Liv

ing event, an informational and fun housing expo, designed to give participants a taste of all the things that Rochester living provides. This year come see us on Saturday, April 16, at City Hall. Meet with housing providers, realtors, and lenders, but also furniture stores, food vendors, neighborhood and school advocates and more. Talk with someone from the R-centers, attend a workshop on small-space gardening, or bring home a free children’s book from the library.

- Celebrates different neighborhoods a few times a year, brought to you by Canandaigua National Bank.

- Posts the HomeWork home-of-the-week column in CITY Newspaper, a publication with a circulation of over 100,000 that is available weekly at over 900 locations around Greater Rochester. Written by knowledgeable volunteers through a partnership with The Landmark Society, it’s a great way to get a tour of an amazing house without leaving your couch.
