CycloCycle.org

CycloCycle.org CycloCycle accepts whole bicycles or frames suitable for racing that are no longer wanted, or are in need of repair.

Cyclocarbon donates the repair, and once they’re fixed up, we find the equipment a new home with a U23 cyclist.

Cyclocarbon painted and donated a carbon hardtail to be given away at the Great Deer Chase Mountain Bike Race this weekend. Corbin Grim, who also happened to win the 30-mile race, had his name drawn for the frame...but the frame was too small for him. Corbin had already applied officially to Cyclocycle looking for a XL-sized road bike. After a brief discussion with regards to the merits of this frame as a tiny dirt jumper, we all agreed to award him an Cervélo S series and re-draw. This little guy won the second drawing, and he's going to have to grow into it, but we bet it wont be long!

We also received at least a dozen other applications for frames at the event, and we'll be reviewing them this week! Expect additional announcements soon. If you are looking for a road or mountain bike frame, please apply at cyclocycle.org as we have several frames that are not yet listed on our website.

Wanted: 26” fork with 1” steerer. We had a bike donated that is complete other than needing a decent fork. We would love to be able to give it away next month.

Thanks

We are extremely excited and grateful to have taken in this nearly complete size large carbon hardtail. The donor included all these high end functional parts as well as two additional frames (which I'll be listing soon). We decided to up the ante by custom painting the frame (thanks Cyclocarbon - Vison - 99 Paint) This bike is ready to have a big impact on a young athlete.

We have several other frames available as well and can take any damaged or undamaged carbon frames, good working components, undamaged steel or aluminum frames etc. into our program. We can't do this without donors. Don't have anything to give but want to support? We can take paypal etc. to help with shipping and miscellaneous costs. Thanks for your support.

We have informed the recipients of the SL6 S-works, Madone 5.2 and one of the Salsa full suspensions! Those frames should be shipping out later this week!

The next frame we'd like to highlight is this 19" Salsa Beargrease. It has a very minor repair to the top tube completed by Cyclocarbon - Vison - 99 Paint and a super cool chameleon fade paint job.

Please apply via our website if you are interested.

This is one of the very first frames we gave away, in early 2020. It brought its rider, a Navy triathlete, to a third place finish in collegiate nationals, a pro card in draft legal triathlon, and elite status in USA Triathlon. Unfortunately, the bike (and rider) were recently involved in a collision with a car which split the bike in half. Fortunately, both survived. Cyclocarbon - Vison - 99 Paint repaired the frame and gave it a fresh coat of paint. If you see it back in action at a triathlon, cheer extra loud for Eli!

We take donations of nearly any damaged carbon frame. We can also take undamaged bikes or frames of any material.

Nothing is too broken!
