Carbon Forestry Trust A non-profit organization growing solutions at the intersection of housing and climate change.

The Carbon Forestry Trust is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created in 2021 with an aim to mitigate the adverse effects of increased atmospheric carbon by accelerating its removal and long-term sequestration through biological means. Its principal ways of doing so are the propagation and management of new woodlands and the restoration and proper care of former or distressed forestland. Through

its activities the Trust fosters ecological diversity, improved wildlife habitat, watershed management, passive recreation, and long-term stabilization of the biosphere. In the conduct of its business the Trust raises funds, acquires land through outright ownership or easement, plants and manages trees, conducts research and education, and performs other activities in support.
